2 oz False River Dark Rum3 to 4 oz high-quality ginger beer (spicy, not ginger ale)
1/2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
2-3 dashes of Angostura bitters (optional, but adds great depth)
Lime wheel or wedge for garnish
Fill a tall Collins glass or highball glass completely with ice cubes. Add the lime juice and bitters directly over the ice. Pour in the ginger beer, leaving about an inch of space at the top. Slowly pour the rum over the top so it “floats,” creating a layered, stormy-looking effect. Stir gently just before drinking, and garnish with a fresh lime wheel.
